About
My name is Melissa Anderson. I am a BIM Designer who worked for Think Architecture in Sandy, Utah before relocating to Missouri where I began my employment with SOA Architecture in Columbia. I have had a passion for design, especially classical residential architecture, from a very young age and hope to continue to grow in the industry and someday become an Architectural Designer.

Education/Work Experience
Through my education and work experience, I have gained knowledge in many different design programs, including Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. I have spent more time in Revit than any of the others and have experience in rendering and modeling families, along with extensive experience working on construction documents within the program. I have also taken classes in SolidWorks and Tekla and have taken a few drawing classes where I greatly improved my sketching and watercolor skills.

Other experience I have includes Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, surveying, writing, vlogging, Kinemaster, Canva, and am currently learning Photoshop.
Degrees, Certifications & Memberships
I have an associate degree in Engineering Design & Technology with an emphasis in General Drafting and Design from Utah Valley University, as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in Architectural Design Technology. I am a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. I was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
